About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to make a real difference. The Salvation Army Housing team is looking for a permanent full time Housing Coordinator to be based out of our Sunshine office with hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership of a high-performing team, including managing the day-to-day activities of the team and motivating the achievement of organizational goals
- Participate in Income and Expenditure (I&E) report reviews to ascertain program expenditure and area of improvement required
- Ensure compliance with current legislative requirements, agreements, key performance indicators and provide guidance to the team (in the form of appropriate procedures, and audits)
- Identify potential improvements to current service delivery and make recommendations
- Ensure tenancy and property operational practices are maintained at an efficient and effective standard by the team
- Liaise closely with support agencies and key social housing and government stakeholders to represent the interests of Salvos Housing
- Accurate and timely reporting
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in Property Management, Project Development, Business Administration or Community Services are highly desirable
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role overseeing a diverse property portfolio
- Sound knowledge of housing development within the social housing and community welfare sector
