In this role, you will assist registered pharmacists in delivering comprehensive pharmacy services to both inpatients and outpatients. Your responsibilities will include maintaining inventory, ensuring timely medication supplies to ward areas, and supporting dispensary operations. You will also leverage advanced pharmacy software to streamline processes and participate in quality audits and educational programs, enhancing your skills and expertise.

**What you'll be doing**

Assist the registered pharmacists in the provision of a range of Pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatient of the hospital.

Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees.

**How to Apply**
- Must hold appropriate qualification as per the Health Employees' (State) Award for the following classifications: Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 - holds a qualification in a relevant field up to the level of Certification III in Hospital and Community Pharmacy OR Pharmacy Technician Grade 2 - holds a qualification in Certificate IV in Hospital Pharmacy and Community Pharmacy
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated competency in dispensing, non-sterile production and distribution
- Demonstrated competency in using pharmacy computer systems
- Demonstrated ability to work both individually and in a team environment
- Demonstrated time management skills and ability to prioritise work flow
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
