Nebula PC is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Hardware Technician to join our dynamic team of tech enthusiasts. If you're a PC aficionado with an eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and a knack for staying up to date with the latest hardware trends, we want to hear from you
**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Accurately understand and determine customer requirements regarding software and hardware.
- Assemble, test, and configure custom-built PCs according to quality standards, ensuring an efficient and satisfied user experience.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues, diagnose problems, and provide effective solutions during PC building process.
- Provide technical support to customers when they meet software and hardware issues.
- Install and update software, drivers, networks, and operating systems as needed.
- Update and adapt existing hardware and software according to customer needs.
- Responsible for after-sales services, such as equipment repairing and parts replacement.
- Regularly maintain and update company’s website.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest hardware trends and technical advancements in the PC building industry.
- Maintain an organised and clean workstation, ensuring the safety of components and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management, tracking, and ordering of components.
**Qualification**
- A relevant bachelor degree
**Experience**
- At least 2 years’ previous relevant experience
**Skill**
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware components, compatibility, and performance optimisation.
- Familiarity with various operating systems, software installation, and system updates.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware issues effectively.
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure precise assembly and testing.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for staying current with the latest advancements in PC hardware and technology.
- Physical ability to lift and move computer components and systems.
**Salary**:$70,000-$75,000 per annum plus superannuation
