**About the role**

Are you a hands-on leader with a drive for continuous improvement and a strong focus on safety? We're looking for a results-driven **Production Supervisor** to join our PGH Bricks team in **Thomastown**, reporting directly to the **Operations Manager**. This is a great opportunity to step into a key role where you'll be leading the daily production operations and shaping the performance of our manufacturing site.

As Production Supervisor, you'll take ownership of production performance and play a hands-on role in coaching and developing the production team. You'll lead with a safety-first mindset, ensuring high standards of environmental compliance, quality, customer service, and operational efficiency are consistently met.

**In this role, you will**:

- Oversee and manage day-to-day production to meet key targets across safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to optimise site performance.
- Develop and manage production and labour budgets while optimising workforce planning.
- Drive and support operator maintenance and inspection programs to achieve OEE (Operational Equipment Effectiveness) targets.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture through clear communication and inclusive leadership.
- Champion a zero-harm safety culture across

**About you**:

- Proven experience in a Production Supervisor or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong track record of driving high performance, efficiency, and team engagement on the production floor.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Process-related disciplines (highly regarded).
- Experience working in complex, fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG operations.
- Sharp attention to detail and a data-driven, analytical mindset.
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Proficient in SAP and other production or maintenance systems.
- Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
- Committed to health, safety, and environmental best practices.
- Solid financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and optimise resources.
