**Role Overview**:
As the Event Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of events at our venues. You will work closely with the team to ensure each event runs smoothly, from pre-event coordination to post-event follow-up. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organisational skills, a passion for the music scene, and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals and teams.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Event Planning & Coordination**: Oversee the planning and execution of all nightclub events, from weekly club nights to special guest performances, ensuring that all details are meticulously managed.
- **Vendor & Artist Liaison**: Manage relationships with external vendors, performers, and artists. Ensure DJ riders, technical requirements, and schedules are clearly communicated and fulfilled.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with the bar, security, and technical teams to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly.
- **Guest Experience**: Ensure a top-notch experience for all guests, from entry to exit, creating a memorable and enjoyable atmosphere for a diverse audience.
- **Problem-Solving & Crisis Management**: Handle any issues that arise during events calmly and professionally, ensuring mínimal disruption to the guest experience.
- **Event Marketing & Promotion**: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events across digital and social platforms, working to drive attendance and engagement.
- **Budget Management**: Help manage event budgets, ensuring events are executed within financial constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
- **Production Knowledge (Desirable)**: Assist in managing the technical aspects of events, such as sound and lighting, and ensure that DJ riders and technical requirements are met.
- **Global Dance Music Scene Insight (Desirable)**: Keep up to date with the global dance music scene, understanding trends and emerging artists to bring fresh, relevant programming to the club.
**Key Requirements**:
- **Passion for Music**: A genuine love for music and a strong interest in the dance music scene, both locally and globally.
- **Event Experience**: Previous experience in event management, ideally within the nightlife or entertainment industry.
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- **People Skills**: Friendly, approachable, and confident in dealing with diverse audiences, staff, and performers.
- **Calm Under Pressure**: Able to stay composed and effective during high-stress situations.
- **Team Player**: Comfortable working in a collaborative environment, contributing to a positive and productive team dynamic.
- **Technical Knowledge (preferred)**: Basic understanding of event production, including sound, lighting, and technical rider requirements.
- **Global Dance Music Awareness (preferred)**: A solid understanding of the international dance music scene and its key players.
- **Australian Working Rights**:Applicant must have full Australian working rights
