We are dynamic and high-energy venues in the heart of Sydney, offering unforgettable music experiences, high-energy events, and a unique atmosphere. We're looking for a creative and results-driven Digital Marketer to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven digital marketing campaigns for two of our Sydney venues, helping to drive awareness, increase event attendance, and grow our digital presence across multiple channels.
**Role Overview**:
As our Digital Marketer, you will take the lead in managing all aspects of our paid digital advertising strategy, ensuring campaigns are highly effective, engaging, and aligned with our brand goals. You will work closely with the marketing and events teams to create targeted digital campaigns, optimise for maximum ROI, and help grow our online community. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, a strong creative mindset, and the ability to analyse and adapt strategies in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Digital Advertising Strategy**: Develop, implement, and manage data-driven digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.) to promote events, brand awareness, and venue experiences for both venues.
- **Target Audience Segmentation**: Use data and insights to define target audiences for each venue and campaign. Create tailored advertising strategies to reach specific demographics, including music enthusiasts, partygoers, and tourists.
- **Campaign Management**: Oversee the creation, execution, and optimisation of paid digital campaigns. Monitor performance daily, adjusting bids, creatives, and targeting to ensure optimal results.
- **Creative Direction & Copywriting**: Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop engaging ad copy, visuals, and multimedia content that resonates with our target audience. Ensure brand consistency across all campaigns.
- **Event Promotion**: Focus on promoting high-profile events, guest DJs, themed nights, and exclusive experiences. Use strategic paid media to maximise attendance and engagement.
- **Budget Management & Optimization**: Manage and optimise digital advertising budgets to achieve the best possible return on investment. Track campaign spend and performance to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- **Data Analysis & Reporting**: Analyse key performance metrics such as click-through rates (CTR), cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and overall campaign effectiveness. Provide regular performance reports and make recommendations for improvement.
- **A/B Testing & Experimentation**: Continuously test different ad creatives, messaging, audience targeting, and bidding strategies to find the most effective approach for each campaign.
- **Collaborations & Partnerships**: Work with influencers, event promoters, and external partners to extend our digital reach and drive cross-promotional efforts.
- **SEO & SEM**: Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) efforts to improve our visibility and attract organic traffic to our websites and event pages.
- **Trend Analysis**: Stay up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing, social media advertising, and the nightlife industry to ensure our strategies remain innovative and relevant.
**Key Requirements**:
- **Proven Digital Marketing Experience**: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, including paid social media advertising, Google Ads, and other digital advertising platforms.
- **Passion for Music & Nightlife**: A strong interest in the music and nightlife industries, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that come with marketing for nightclubs and live events.
- **Creative & Analytical Mindset**: Ability to combine creativity with data analysis. You should feel comfortable brainstorming new ideas while analysing campaign performance to make informed decisions.
- **Platform Expertise**: Deep understanding of digital marketing platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.) and tools for ad management and optimisation. Experience with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Facebook Business Manager, and Ads Manager is essential.
- **Copywriting & Content Creation**: Strong written communication skills, with experience crafting compelling ad copy and messaging that resonates with a diverse audience. Ability to collaborate on creating visuals and multimedia content.
- **Data-Driven Decision Making**: Ability to work with analytics and performance data to drive strategy, improve campaign outcomes, and continuously optimize campaigns for better ROI.
