**As a Logistics Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for keeping our supply chain running smoothly. In this role,**
- You will have end to end accountability for transportation services and costs in Australia and New Zealand.
- You’ll hold great service and cost responsibility, overseeing seamless movement of goods into the region over the ocean, in and out of Reckitt’s distribution centres, and into our customer depots.
- You'll own all 3rd party transport arrangements for freight operations across Australia and New Zealand, including swift issue resolution and proactive risk management
- You'll ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time
- You'll manage local relationships with multiple ocean freight forwarders via contractual service KPIs
- You’ll be expected not just to keep the operations running at status quo but to challenge partners, internal and external, to thrive by finding new, innovative ways of working.

**You’ll succeed because you'll..**:

- Have led supply chain projects in a high volume operation either on land or ocean (road freight preferred - both are highly desirable)
- Deliver superior customer service - i.e. inbound service measures to our trade customers - at optimal freight cost to expand gross margin and positively impact net revenue
- Demonstrated experience leading tendering activities, contract negotiation and managing 3rd party logistics providers
- Have sound Knowledge of Australia and New Zealand codes for Transportation of Dangerous Goods and Chain of Responsibility
- Have worked in supply chain operations teams, managing 3PL performance, with knowledge of the Australian logistics industry and WHS, ideally in FMCG, food & beverage or pharma manufacture, transportation or customer service areas.
