**Your New Role**:
You will be joining the team as a Development Manager working predominantly on the pre-construction stages of projects, including acquisitions and feasibilities, within the build to rent residential and commercial sectors.
Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify potential acquisition opportunities and assess their viability.
- Analyse financial models and conduct due diligence to assess the feasibility of potential projects.
- Develop project plans, including budgets, schedules, and key milestones, and work closely with the project team to ensure that they are met.
- Manage the acquisition process, including negotiations with sellers and their agents, and oversee the legal and due diligence processes.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other consultants to develop project designs that meet the client's needs and comply with relevant regulations.
- Manage the planning and permitting process, including coordinating with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as real estate, business, or finance.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in real estate development, with a focus on the pre-construction stages of projects.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, evaluating, and acquiring development sites in the build to rent residential and commercial sectors.
- Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to develop and analyse complex financial models.
- Knowledge of local planning and zoning regulations and a proven track record of obtaining necessary approvals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
