**About the role**:
The Precincts Group is responsible for the creation and delivery of large-scale urban redevelopment projects across Victoria including Arden, Fitzroy Gasworks, General Motors Holden (Fishermans Bend), Docklands, Revitalising Central Dandenong, and Junction Place Wodonga.

This Assistant Development Manager role is targeting the newest member of the Arden project team; an individual eager to support the delivery of a future landmark precinct, globally recognised for collaboration and innovation in the health, life sciences, technology, and education sectors.

As an Assistant Development Manager, you will be working alongside a team of industry professionals and gain exposure to a wide variety of project activities from planning, through to design and documentation, and the future sale and redevelopment of land in partnership with the private sector.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Working collaboratively with the Arden project team through the lifecycle of the project.
- Contributing towards the achievement of key State policies relating to economic development, housing provision and environmental sustainability.
- Preparing, administering, and monitoring the progress of contracts with consultants and other service providers.
- Reviewing and providing input into reports and other technical outputs produced by consultants.
- Assisting with the preparation, formatting and production of internal and outgoing correspondence including board papers, monthly project reports and meeting agendas and minutes.
- Assisting in the management, monitoring, and reporting of project budgets, risks, and milestones.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Assisting with stakeholder engagement and community consultations.

**About you**:
Key attributes sought for the role include strong communication skills, a pro-active mindset, ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment and exceptional time management skills.

Ideally you will hold Tertiary qualifications in Property or Construction / Project Management and have had exposure to or previous experience with the following:

- The planning and design and/or construction phase of a project.
- The procurement of consultants and/or contractors.
- The preparation of project documentation including meeting agendas, minutes, letters, and reports.
- Managing project budgets, invoicing and financial reporting.
- Working in a corporate or government organisation.
- Working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders.
