**Salary -**Clerk Grade 5/6; ($97,027.00 - $107,059) plus Environmental Allowance + superannuation + leave loading)

**Your role**

As a Services and Programs Officer, you will report to the Service Integration Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering targeted services and programs to two diverse cohorts within Emu Plains Correctional Centre. The main centre will house male offenders with a C3 classification whilst Jacaranda Cottages will house women with various classifications, as part of the Mothers and Childrens Program

**What you’ll do**
- Provide services of assessment, case management, individual crisis, and fundamental support interventions for sentenced and remand inmates.
- Provide group based accredited or approved programs to offenders within a correctional centre.
- Work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders - including offenders, families, multi-disciplinary staff, and agency members that support our work.
- Develop networks with key internal and external agencies to enhance positive outcomes for offenders.

**What we’re looking for**
- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person who are culturally aware and responsive to the needs of Aboriginal people and communities
- A passionate professional with an interest in working within the Mothers and Childrens Program and a deep understanding of the complexities faced by female offenders, particularly those balancing motherhood with rehabilitation.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in assessment, case management and intervention with clients with complex welfare and alcohol and drug related needs.
- Demonstrated ability and/or experience in delivering group-based interventions.
- Knowledge and understanding of the transitional factors affecting offenders and their families.

**Essential requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, mental health, or other human services fields; and/or demonstrated relevant equivalent experience working with family, social and/or drug and alcohol related issues.
- Current drivers’ licence with ability and willingness to travel throughout NSW.
- Current Certificate IV in Correctional Practice with the necessary units of competency for this role or capacity to complete Certificate IV in Correctional Practice in accordance with specified CSNSW timeframes.
