Fender Katsalidis is seeking a motivated Architectural Technician to join our Brisbane team.

An Architectural Technician is a key contributor to the success of our projects and one that is essential to the growth of the studio and team.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required:
− Obtained a degree in Building Design or be qualified as an Architectural Technician.

− Extensive experience working on Design Development and Construction Documentation.

− Ability to use ArchiCAD at an expert level.

− Demonstrated experience working in project teams on large and complex projects in the commercial and high rise / multi-unit residential sectors.

− Demonstrated construction detailing knowledge.

− Ability to ensure drawings are of a high standard and uphold design intent and fitness for purpose.

− Ability to work well in a team environment ensuring team efficiency is a team priority.

− A comprehensive working knowledge of building codes and standards.

− comprehensive knowledge of construction methods and systems.

− Experience assisting at a high level with the production of schedules and specifications.

− Experience liaising with other consultants as well as integrating their contributions into the architectural documentation.

− Demonstrated solid working knowledge of BIM methods and protocols; and

− Experience in performing appropriate quality standards checks and ensure non-conformances are closed out in a timely manner.
