- We’re looking for someone who has just started or ready to start their leadership journey. You may have had exposure to it in your day-to-day job as a senior designer and now you're ready to step up, or you could already have a few leadership runs on the board.
A few things you'll be doing day-to-day:
- Shape, develop and deliver on the strategy for your area in close partnership with Product and Engineering-
- Develop objectives and measure results to ensure your team delivers value consistently-
- Mature and evolve our products, including our design system-
- Support shaping and drive design processes and practices, enabling greater impact and efficiency in how we work.-
- Proactively connect with research and content capabilities to amplify design best practice.-
- Support your people in understanding the company’s overarching strategy and to embrace and champion our values-
- Set your people up for success by ensuring they have a clear understanding of their role and where it fits in to the bigger picture-
- Provide regular feedback to your people, call out great work and work with them on the things they could do better- Who we’re looking for:
- Someone with a few runs on the board, experience designing products using industry standard tools and best practice processes, leading teams and/or mentoring people-
- A good eye for design, comfortable providing design direction and feedback-
- Looks at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens-
