Our **Sydney based Digital Delivery **business group is looking for an experienced **Civil Designer **with a focus on linear infrastructure projects to successfully deliver quality designs and collaborate with all partners across multiple disciplines to achieve ‘best for project’ outcomes. Being part of our large Sydney Digital Delivery Group, with drafters, modelers, designers and digital leads committed to be at the forefront of digital delivery

This is an excellent career move for a civil designer with experience and you will assist in the delivery of projects from concept stage through to construction. You will be part of the Sydney Digital Delivery Group, with a large number of drafters, modelers, designers and digital leads committed to be at the forefront of digital delivery. There is also the opportunity to be involved in working with our global design collaboration centers in the Philippines, UK, Canada and the US, as well as potential short term secondments to our global design collaboration centers for high performers
- Working with an experienced team on exciting major infrastructure projects
- Provide project coordination and assistance in the production of design drawings and models using various software packages including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and 12D.
- Ensuring project design and documentation complies with client design and drafting standards
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members, or be guided and lead by our technical leaders
- Supporting the group with activities associated with managing the group and/or continued development of innovations and digital transformation
- Opportunity to work on major water and civil infrastructure projects with access to senior leaders of the industry

**What you will bring to the team**
- Diploma TAFE qualification in Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with 3D linear design of pressure mains, gravity mains and utilities (documenting alignments and longsections from 3D design software)
- Proven proficiency using Civil 3d and 12d for civil infrastructure projects, preferably in water and utility projects but urban design, earthworks, roads, railways, stormwater drainage advantageous
- Knowledge of client drafting standards such as Sydney Water
- ProjectWise and 12D Synergy experience is highly regarded
- Civil 3D, 12D and Navisworks exposure is advantageous
- Ideally have previous experience within an engineering consulting firm
- An interest in or previous experience in civil modelling and design
