Hays have partnered with a West Australian-owned family business who is now one of Australia’s most trusted beef processors and exporters to find a Quality Assurance Manager. This role is a permanent position based in Osborne Park and requires a high level of positive communication and drive, so stakeholder management skills and rapport-building abilities will be looked on just as favourably as technical skills.

**Job Requirements**:

- Managing the quality function and the Quality Assurance department
- Collecting and analysing food safety and quality results to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensuring every stage of production process is compiled with AUS MEAT standard and regulatory requirements
- The development of a company’s SOP’s
- Development, maintenance, and implementation of site Quality Management System
- Oversee all quality related activities on site in accordance with the WMS, associate SOPs and WI
- Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting quality and production employees to ensure that all quality standards and compliance are met.

**What you need to Succeed**:

- A tertiary qualification in food science or related discipline
- High level experience of progressively responsible quality assurance experience in the food industry with a high level of GMP/HACCP principles
- A proven ability to deliver on a quality management strategy within a food manufacturing company
- Strong understanding of food handling and major food safety principles
