**About Us**

The County Court of Victoria is established pursuant to the County Court Act 1958. It has original and appellate jurisdiction and is the principal trial court in the State of Victoria. The Court hears over 12,000 criminal, common law, and commercial cases each year. The County Court has unlimited monetary jurisdiction in common law and commercial matters. In its criminal jurisdiction, the Court hears all indictable offences except treason, murder, and related offences.

There are a total of 80 Judges of the Court and over 300 staff, including judicial support staff. The County Court regularly conducts circuit sittings at 12 circuit courts situated in major centres throughout regional Victoria.

**About the Role**

If you are interested in being involved in a broad range of work across the Court, with close working relationships with the executive team, this may be the role for you.

The ideal person will be a great communicator, who is able to coordinate multiple tasks at a time and who has an interest in the Court's management and workings. This role will involve key administration duties, such as scheduling, diary management and supporting the CEO. It will also act as secretariat to the Court's Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meetings, as well as co-ordinating reporting to the Board of Management.

The role will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Executive Advisor on projects, briefs, speeches and a range of strategic tasks.

**About You**
- Can focus on the administration and coordination of multiple tasks;
- Can prioritise their own work, with reference to agreed parameters and seeking guidance where necessary;
- has an eye for detail;
- can communicate, consult, and work with multiple stakeholders;
- has strong written communication skills and can review documents—including briefings and correspondence—for accuracy and quality (including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax).
