**The Opportunity**

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Unit Trust and Cash Analyst to join QIC’s Investment Operations team in Brisbane.

The roles focus is to manage and maintain the daily life cycle of cash, liquidity management, private capital cashflows, unit trust, pricing oversight, investment reporting, reconciliations, and data management.

You will work with QICs partners and third party providers to provide seamless service of operation and problem resolution.

Your previous experience and strengths will support you across core responsibilities such as:

- Support end-to-end processes for Managed Fund investments including cash and trade processing, forecasting, distributions, management fee rebate, month end reporting, daily reconciliations, data entry processing and settlement, pricing, call payments, foreign exchange and static data.
- Key stakeholder managing liquidity and private capital platforms to contribute valuable expertise in achieving best investment practice.
- Understand the workflow dependencies on investment operations, custody administration and fund accounting stakeholder.
- Participate and assist in global / domestic projects in line with business strategies & objectives.
- Provide assistance in the day-to-day operations, including distribution, year end processes and reporting requirements.
- Establish, document, and ensure adherence to comprehensive Investment Operations procedures that meet the business needs in relation to efficiency, accuracy, service and risk management.
- Assist in the co-ordination of new business take-ons / departures / restructures / transitions as and when required.
- Assist in the resolution of incidents/errors on a best practice basis.
- Manage the information / data flow into the global systems.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in Investment Operations or registry cash settlements. financial or commercial experience in investment banking, corporate finance or management consulting. You will also have formal qualifications in Business, finance, commerce degree required.

In addition to this, you will have demonstrated experience in:

- Investment Operations, Global Cash, Private Capital and Unit Trust knowledge desired.
- Organisational skills to manage conflicting priorities and multi-task functions in a fast-paced team environment.
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Accountable for own work outputs and manages time effectively to achieve individual KPI’s.
- Good understanding of cash processes and settlements
- Positively contribute to a team environment and collaboratively work with others in the team and broader QIC
- Medium to advanced spread-sheeting skills & high degree of computer literacy
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work
