A global leader in the automotive space, this car manufacturing company continues to grow. With dealerships and offices located across Metropolitan Melbourne, they are currently expanding their team in the Eastern suburbs. As a result, there are currently multiple vacancies available in the financial department of the business in the capacity of Collections and Hardship Officers.

**Your new role**
As part of the Hardship and Collections team, your day-to-day will consist of the following:

- Taking inbound and conducting outbound calls to customers who have fallen behind on their car loan repayments
- Discussing repayment options with customers and devising tailored payment plans
- Negotiating payments and settlements with customers in order to resolve outstanding accounts
- Providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction through telephone and written correspondence.
- Maintaining accurate records of all collections activity across the business via the company database
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines throughout the collections process

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous and recent experience in a collections or hardship role (highly desirable)
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
- Recent call centre experience highly advantageous
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced call centre environment
- High attention to detail
- Conflict and relationship management skills
- An understanding of the automotive finance industry is highly regarded
- You must hold full/unrestricted working rights in Australia
