**About St Vincent de Paul Society**

For more than 170 years we have been providing practical and compassionate support to people across Victoria whose daily struggles can include putting food on the table, paying essential utilities and ensuring their children remain at school to obtain an education.

Our organisation provides many services and programs, including soup vans, education programs, home visitation programs and VincentCare Victoria (VCV), which assist some of Victoria’s most vulnerable communities, such as people experiencing homelessness, the housing crisis and family violence, and the elderly.

**Little bit about the role**

**As part of the BI function, this role supports organisation-wide performance by delivering strategic projects, systems, and reporting to enhance the Society’s impact across its mission-driven programs. The role works closely with operational and service delivery teams to embed a rigorous approach to project planning, data management, and performance reporting—ensuring that data and systems are effectively leveraged to drive better outcomes for people in need. This is a key role in supporting impact measurement and reporting for the Society, and broader social impact initiatives across Victoria.

**Your responsibilities**

**In this position, your key responsibilities will include:

- Developing and continuously improving our business intelligence and analytics
- Oversee optimisation of data operations and support
- Oversee and evaluate data architecture and integration
- Support strategic and corporate planning
- Develop standardised reporting on corporate and strategic plan process
- Contribute to the organisational culture

**About you**

For this role, we need you to have:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in data, business intelligence, computer science or a related field
- Certificate in Power BI (desirable)
- Previous experience in being part of the development and delivery of a BI and Data strategy
- High fluency in Excel and familiarity with Dynamics, Azure, Microsoft Architecture, Power Platform, Fabric platforms
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Knowledge and/or previous experience in the Not-For-Profit sector
- Comfortable working autonomously and through ambiguity
