**About the role**

To support our success we are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join the People & Culture team in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

As a Payroll Specialist, you are responsible for administering all aspects of the payroll process for Australian Retirement Trust and ensuring the payroll is completed on time with a high degree of accuracy. You are the point of contact for payroll enquiries and accountable for providing responsive customer service to all employees. In addition, you will provide administration support to the Performance and Reward team.

**This role is available as a 12 month max-term opportunity.**

**About you**

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications will include:

- Experience using Chris21/Oracle Payroll Systems or a similar payroll system.
- 5 years+ experience in payroll and/or payroll administration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of payroll and HR administration concepts, principles, practices and procedures.
- Experience in administering an in-house payroll function.
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Experience in the preparation of ad-hoc payroll reports.
- Advanced customer service skills including the ability to foster strong work relationships both internally and externally.
