We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Yard Supervisor to oversee daily yard operations and lead our hardworking team.

This pivotal role ensures the smooth and safe flow of materials, maintains yard organisation, and supports effective teamwork. If you have leadership experience and a strong understanding of yard operations, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate all yard activities including loading and unloading materials.
- Lead and support the yard team, ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Manage inventory processes and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock.
- Schedule and monitor deliveries and shipments to keep operations on track.
- Oversee maintenance of yard equipment and ensure a clean, organised yard environment.
- Conduct safety audits and foster a culture of safety within the team.
- Liaise with other departments to optimise yard operations and resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to yard staff.

Qualifications:

- Prior supervisory experience in a yard, warehouse, or related environment.
- Forklift certification and hands-on forklift operation experience.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Physically fit to work outdoors and handle manual tasks when needed.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and inventory software is desirable.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts if required.

Pay: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour

- Forklift: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
