Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Program Manager on a contract for 6 months with potential extension.

**Position Overview**

The program manager will be responsible for delivery of budget measures and other Government Commitments, providing strategic advice to senior executives and leading program management and integration.

The Program manager will work in collaboration with the Manager of ERF Transformation and Analytics and will report to the General Manager, ERF Branch.

The program manager will have a knowledge and understanding of carbon abatement, the ERF scheme, its methodologies. and mapping capabilities. They will be responsible for:

- Building relationship and trust with the General Manager, the ERF Branch, DSB and more broadly with other business areas within the agency and external stakeholders
- Providing strategic advice to the ERF Executives
- Coordinating and leading a range of initiatives and projects
- Providing an integration capability by entangling projects complexities and understanding dependencies, priorities and sequencing of activities to ensure delivery is progressed within budget, schedule and scope
- Ensuring governance requirements are met by reporting and presenting progress to senior committees, delivering projects roadmaps, change requests and other documentation
- Leading projects teams to enable delivery of NPP initiatives by providing directions and escalating issues as they arise for quick remediation
- Managing the capability and capacity of team
- Fostering strategic partnerships with the agency and with key external stakeholders including federal department and agency, academia, other agencies
- Taking a leading role in driving the business in designing new risk and assessment framework in line with the agency processes and frameworks
- Managing and coordinating change management, benefits and communications across projects
