PEER is a not-for-profit industry-based Group Training Organisation (GTO) and an award-winning Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivering nationally accredited training packages to meet South Australia’s skill development needs.

As a GTO, PEER is the largest employer of apprentices within the building and construction industry. Our apprentices are trained, coached, mentored and supported to be their best - as trade professionals and as individuals.

**About You**

We are looking for our next team member who has a friendly, positive, can-do attitude who can multi-task and have high level communication skills. And be able to think on the run to respond quickly and professionally to new and changing situations.

We need a team player that cares about our Host Employers as well as our apprentices and trainees and understand the importance of superior customer service for both internal and external stakeholders.

**About the Opportunity**

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Assisting Apprentice & Trainee Supervisors to provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, support and guidance to apprentices and trainees as they work through their probation period
- Working closely with host employers to ensure their apprentice needs are met.
- Closely monitoring the progress, development and performance of each apprentice or trainee, making regular site visits and seeking feedback
- Running reports from relevant systems and consolidating and interpreting the data
- Accurate and timely note taking and database management
- Some out of hours work required to attend events, networking and career expos
