**The Opportunity**

HCA has an exciting opportunity for a motivated mining excavator specialist to join the Corporate Support Group based at our Perth branch. As Product Support Specialist - Mining Excavators, you will be responsible for providing high-level product support to HCA operations for Hitachi mining excavators in the Western region.

Through engagement with Branch Operations and customers some of your responsibilities will be:

- Track fleet performance and reliability to provide timely resolution for local product related issues and escalation of major product issues.
- Identify & drive product improvement opportunities
- Manage & distribute OEM technical documentation & campaigns
- Effectively communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver results through established process and effective escalation
- Manage HCM Incident Report escalation and action in area of responsibility
- Support introduction of new mining equipment products
- You will have:_
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
- Proven experience in a Technical or Product Support role
- High technical knowledge and experience working on Hitachi mining excavators
- Current Drivers License
- Good computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office) with ability to visualise data and compile reports
- Excellent writing and presentation skills and the ability to liaise with customers on different organisational levels
- Minimum 5 years in a mobile equipment focused Technical Support role within the Australian mining industry
- Relevant trade certificate or tertiary qualification
