This is a rare opportunity that has arisen in a supportive and high-performing team.

You'll learn all about all different types of policy development and reform, ranging from policy, strategy, legislative and regulatory work, as well as program design and project delivery. You'll be involved in a wide range of Government decision-making processes, including how Cabinet and the budget process works.

**Please note**: This is a graduate-level role, but not part of a formal graduate program. You'll be supported through on-the-job training, a dedicated buddy, and internal learning opportunities to help you grow and succeed in the role.

**Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification(s) in public policy, arts, law, international development or similar is desirable.
- ** Cultural capability**: Awareness of self-determination, First Peoples rights and interests and Government policies. Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity. Experience engaging with First Peoples and Victorian Traditional Owners is an advantage.

**This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne (3 days in the office per week).**
