Essendon FC - “The Bombers” - are a professional sporting team in the Australian Football League. As home to 5 sporting teams, we run our AFL men’s and women’s programs, VFL women’s and men’s programs, and a wheelchair football team. But we’re more than the game. Not only do we exist to win premierships, we aim to give back to our loyal membership base, and importantly, our community. **About the role**

The Recruiting Manager - Women’s will support the AFLW List & Recruiting Manager/Head of VFLW in the national talent identification of female footballers for our VFLW and AFLW programs. Working collaboratively in an elite sporting environment, you will be responsible for identifying female talent across AFLW, VFLW, NAB league girls’ programs, academies/championships, state league programs (WAFLW, SANFLW, QAFLW, AFL Sydney) and cross sport athletes. The Recruiting Manager - Women’s will seek, collect and analyse the appropriate statistics, vision and personal information for each player and generate recommendations for the AFLW List & Recruiting Manager.

**About you**

Having experience working within an elite sporting environment, you will have an extensive track record of talent identification in the AFL/AFLW space. You will have strong communication skills, attention to detail and be able to self-manage under pressure. You’ll have the ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to build strong relationships within the organisation and with key stakeholders externally.
