**Room leader -Diploma trained Educator**

The position is for a diploma educator, starting in September. You will mainly be responsible for a small group (up to 8) of 2-3 years old toddlers, including observation and programming. You will be supported by assisting educator.

One day a week you will be working with the Pre-school group supporting the implementation of the program.

**Mother’s Love Early Education & Childcare Service** is a non-profit charity in Inner West Sydney with 26 places, with 2-5 years old. We have been assessed as meeting in all areas. The education and care service has a warm atmosphere, friendly and professional staff team. The management is always supportive to all the educators and staff.

We facilitate staff education and training to keep up with the current early childhood field.

Our organisation is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children in our community so the successful applicant will be required to take part in regular Child Protection training and must undertake an employment screening process prior to commencement.

**Requirements**:
An approved diploma in Early childhood Services. _Students (Early Childhood or Diploma) are welcome_

Proficient in communicating, verbally and documenting in English

Experience working with children, 2-5 years old

Computer skills - Microsoft word

Ability to work well in a team situation

Genuinely interested in the field of early childhood as a profession

Fully vaccinated for Covid
- 19

Self-motivated and enthusiastic.

Interest and skills in music, arts or crafts, sports, gardening will be appreciated
