**Position Purpose**:
This is a role within the technology department to provide technical software support services;
and support technology programs across the organisation to support, enhance and optimize
operations using modern technology and best practices, in a timely manner for the college
community members.
The role works closely with the CTO on a daily basis including, reporting to the CTO on a regular
basis about operational issues and the status of client support requests. Reporting may take place
in regular meetings with the CTO, through Help Desk records and informal day to day
communication.***
The role is required to develop and maintain a high level of expertise and understanding of the

- Deliver training to staff in the use of Synergetic and StarRez and other College
- Ensure key internal stakeholders are competent in Synergetic & StarRez (and other

- Work with stakeholders across the organisation to understand data needs, limitations,
and reporting requirements.
- Assist in providing general HelpDesk support to the college on occasions.
- Assist in the day to day running of our Student/Staff Portal, based on WordPress.
- Develop and maintain new and existing WordPress websites as required.
- Provide administrative and technical documentation as required or requested.

the organisation to support, enhance and optimize operations using modern technology

**Key Selection Criteria:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Microsoft SQL and/or MySQL Server experience.
- Data Integration Tools such as Mulesoft, Pentaho.
- Wordpress development and management.
- REST Web Services/API’s.
- Web Development skills using either PHP, ASP or CFM.
- Proven capacity to work in a team environment.
- Commitment to Ormond’s values.
**Prior experience in the following will be looked upon favourably:
**- Synergetic or StarRez experience.
- Experience in Rostering / Staff Management Software.
