**About the Role**:
Our client is looking for an Environmental Manager to join their strong team of professional individuals. They are newly established Solar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction company dedicated to sustainable energy solutions.

As an Environmental Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the solar projects adhere to the highest environmental standards, contributing to a cleaner and greener future.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and implement environmental compliance programs to ensure all solar projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct thorough environmental impact assessments for prospective solar project sites, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies, local communities, and project stakeholders to foster positive relationships and address environmental concerns.
- Develop and deliver environmental training programs for project teams to enhance awareness and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Implement robust monitoring systems for ongoing environmental performance, preparing regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.

**To Be Successful**:

- **Qualifications**: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in environmental management within the renewable energy or construction industry, with a on-site background.
- **Regulatory Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes related to solar energy projects.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and convey complex environmental concepts to non-experts.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to identify environmental challenges, propose effective solutions, and implement mitigation measures.
- **Passion for Sustainability**: A genuine commitment to promoting sustainable practices and contributing to the global shift towards renewable energy.
