The Role
The newly created Digital Analyst role will support the analytics function with the Group Digital and Customer team. Partnering closely with brands and other shared service teams, this role is focused on bringing to life dashboards, insights and strategic pieces of analysis for the digital space. You will be heavily involved in the digital product space with tag management capabilities to support both existing and new capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain all aspects of Google Analytics (GA), Google Cloud Platform (GCP, Big Query), Data Studio, Tealium IQ and Google Tag Manager (GTM) including tracking/tagging implementation, understanding of data layer, dashboards and custom reports.
- Identify and analyse Digital Marketing team KPIs including Sales, Search behaviour, Traffic, AOV, Engagement and Conversion throughout the customer journey.
- Provide regular trade reporting and insights, both proactive and ad-hoc, to enable key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
- Recommend tagging and implementation strategies for business measurement requirements adhering to internal taxonomy.
- Experience in navigating & querying databases is AWS sandbox environment.
- Collaborate with external agency to support the implementation & maintenance of tags via Tealium IQ on CDP(Customer Data Platform).
- User behaviours and ecommerce activities to Digital Marketing team with a view to enhancing the customer experience across all digital channels.
- Conduct audit on Country Road Group Google Analytics, Big Query, Data Studio, Tealium IQ and Google Tag Manager and work with Digital Analytics team to implement technical best practice solutions on identified optimisation areas.
- Patience and flexibility to work in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative, fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to present complex behavioural and data-driven insights to stakeholders in a simple and non-technical manner.
- Experience with SQL and BigQuery (advantageous).
- High proficiency in Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager.
- Proven experience in dashboarding tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Google Data Studio, PowerBI etc.)
- Experience in Google BigQuery, SQL, AWS.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
