Officeworks is on the lookout for a passionate and innovative Product Development Manager to join our Global Sourcing team. This role is your chance to make a significant impact on our merchandise strategy and drive the future of our private brand products.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lead with Vision**: Spearhead the sourcing and development of products within a designated category, offering expert category and product advice.
- **Data-Driven Innovation**: Harness commercial and trend data to guide decisions and shape the direction of our private brand product development.
- **Project Excellence**: Oversee strategic product development projects and lead a team of specialist product developers to deliver sourcing and private brand strategies on time and within budget.
- **Strategic Product Development**: Craft product strategies that align with private brand goals, customer needs, and key financial metrics like sales, stock, and net margin.
- **Expert Guidance**: Provide top-notch specification and material recommendations, coordinate new product ranges, and negotiate pricing strategies at various levels.
- **Trendsetting Research**: Dive into market research on colour, material, finish, sustainability, and other product trends to keep us ahead of the curve.
- **Industry Collaboration**: Work closely with specialist consultants, contractors, and industry experts to bring innovative ideas to life.
- **Promotional Magic**: Develop exciting promotional programs under the guidance of the Senior Manager - Sourcing, Design, and Product Development.
- **Drive Innovation**: Revolutionize the way Officeworks sources, coordinates, and manages imported programs.

**About you**:
Responsible for managing strategic product development projects as well leading specialist product developers to execute the sourcing and private brand development strategies of buying portfolios on time and on budget requires a creative and visionary leader who can leverage the following:

- Proven experience in product development and sourcing.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for utilizing commercial and trend data.
- Exceptional project management and leadership abilities.
- Expertise in market research and industry collaboration.
- A creative and innovative mindset focused on delivering high-quality, high-margin products
