**About the Opportunity**:
As the Hospitality Manager you will be instrumental in bringing the business strategy to fruition. You will lead the day-to-day management of the businesses and take responsibility for established quality and staff standards along with revenue and profit goals. With a balance of commercial acumen and innovative thinking you will be devoted to creating memorable experiences for our valued visitors.

Reporting to the Head of Paragon Wine Estates,** key responsibilities include**:

- Lead the development and implementation of the Paragon Wine Estates ‘Direct to Consumer’ vision, strategy and tactics
- Oversee the venue operations with weekly reporting evaluation, building strategies to deliver company expectations and targets
- Manage direct reporting lines from Cellar Door Managers, Restaurant Managers, Executive Chefs, Sales & Event Managers.
- Lead recruitment needs
- Systems integration, process establishment & improvement
- Oversee all hospitality service standards and operations to ensure guest satisfaction and quality control standards.
- Design and manage service offerings, pricing, function & event capability to achieve revenue, cost and profit objectives.
- Collaboratively work to generate ideas, develop, plan and support Venue Managers with the execution of day-to-day operations
- Lead restaurant, cellar door, event marketing and promotional activities, content generation and online customer engagement practices
- Work to embed the standards, drive the energy and culture and build strong relationships with staff
- Ensure safe working practices and monitor adherence to relevant WHS legislation and company safety policies (e.g. RSA training)

**What you’ll need to succeed**:
You have developed a successful career across cellar doors, hospitality management and/or luxury retail and are experienced leading large teams. With a highly developed knowledge of wine appreciation and retailing, you understand consumers and can determine sales drivers to deliver on targets.
- Proven track record in developing and executing strategic operational plans and the successful achievement of KPI’s
- Exceptional business acumen and ability to manage P&L
- Strong people development, coaching skills, communication and influencing skills
- Extensive management experience in a premium food and beverage establishment.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
