Compounding pharmacy is a unique type of pharmacy, in which medications are made specifically for patients at the request of a doctor. This art goes back to the original ways of community pharmacy however modern technology has allowed for more precise methods and our NCC ‘secret sauce’ has helped the business grow consistently throughout Queensland and into other states, all from our office and lab in Merrimac.

**Job description**

As a **customer service expert**, you will be involved in a number of systems throughout the compounding pharmacy.

There are several key roles which include
- liaising with patients in the NCC reception area and responded to them in a prompt manner
- ensuring all the NCC service standards are being met
- working with the office manager, office team, pharmacists, and pharmacist manager to keep the NCC office efficient, productive and organised.

**Position Information**

Our compounding pharmacy is looking for a **skilled customer service member** to join the team.

The role will include
- Fulltime hours
- Phone ordering and follow up calls
- Liaising in person and over the phone with a variety of patients, pharmacies, medical and veterinary clinics to fulfill orders and confirm order details
- Serve customers within the retail space of the compounding pharmacy and fulfill their collection orders
- Operate a computer, including pharmacy specific software, ordering software, Microsoft word and excel
- Work in a fun and efficient team environment to also help cover other roles and solve customer service specific issues when appropriate
- Take guidance from Office team leader, Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacists
- Restocking stationery and office items
- Filing owing prescriptions
- Following NCC specific operating procedures
- Cleaning of facility and any other duties that are required.

**Job Requirements**
- Education, training, experience (will assist, however not compulsory)_
- High School completion, pharmacy assistant training or similar
- Detailed oriented with good organisation skills
- Effective working under pressure
- Enthusiasm for learning
