**The important role you’ll play**
- The role of the Clinical Care Team Leader is to provide and coordinate resident care, supervise care staff to ensure an effective, efficient and functioning team under the direct supervision of the Clinical Care Manager and General Manager.
- As a Senior RN, you will be required to lead and manage the clinical and allied health services under the direction of Clinical Care Manager.
- As a member of the clinical team you will perform in accordance with legislation and practice within a professional and ethical framework.
- The Clinical Care Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the assessment and evaluation of individual resident care within the scope of practice; to act as a resource for staff; perform competency assessments, and have input into training of staff.
- The Clinical Care Team Leader will liaise with the Clinical Care Manager to ensure resident care outcomes are met.

**What your compassionate care looks like**
- Ensure that the care and service is coordinated in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of Regis Aged Care in line with scope of practice and other governing regulations.
- Lead and participate in the delivery of a high standard of person-centred resident care which includes: Prioritising the social, emotional, spiritual and recreational needs of all the residents and supporting care staff in working towards these needs.
- Provide a high standard of ongoing care management and performs nursing interventions in accordance with recognized standards of practice relevant to a Registered Nurse
- Coordinate the comprehensive completion of, individual holistic assessments and care plans for new and existing residents, and evaluate care in line with Regis policy and within scope of practice.
- Ensure that the coordination of all clinical documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with Regis policies and procedures.
- Assist Clinical Care Manager with monitoring of the medication management by reviewing medication charts and medication storage.

**About you**

As a collaborative member of the team, you will possess:

- Obtained proficiency and qualifications necessary to perform work at this level.
- Knowledge and relevant experience in clinical services in a complex nursing and/or aged care setting
- Understanding or ability to learn the attributes of the Commonwealth Funding System in relation to ACFI
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding with implementation and management of Workplace Health & Safety Program / Infection Control/ Manual Handling
- Positive attitude towards working with the Aged
- Demonstrated understanding of the relevant Laws, Acts, Regulations, Charters and Codes of Practice
- Computer literacy
- Registration with Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (Nursing)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong Computer Literacy
- Ability to provide direction and expert advice in the treatment of acute care episodes

To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply a NDIS worker screening clearance, COVID and flu vaccinations, and certification proof.
