Founded by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan in 1925, St Joseph’s Primary stands strong in its traditions and history within the parish of Nambour. We are seeking a Secretary/ Administration Officer to undertake a diverse range of administration tasks within our busy school office. You will work as part of a collaborative team providing services to parents, students, school staff and the wider school community. As the face of our school, you will need a cheery disposition and the ability to problem solve a range of presenting issues.
**Duties include**:
- Administration of filing and online management systems (eMinerva)
- Assisting School Leadership with various administration tasks
- Assisting with organisation of school events and activities
- Managing enrolments
- Creating weekly school newsletters and first aid duties (First Aid certificate required)
It is highly desirable that you have at least two years administration experience; a working knowledge of BCE Systems; sound Microsoft Office skills, display proven communication and interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
