**Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC) has been successful in securing the delivery of three stations for the Parklife Metro consortium as part of the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport Stations, Systems, Trains, Operations and Maintenance (SSTOM) package.** We will act as station subcontractor to consortium D&C partner Webuild, and be responsible for the construction, fitout and commissioning of the Aerotropolis, Luddenham and Orchard Hills stations over the next three years.

As an Australian, privately owned construction business, RCC will support the NSW Government and Sydney Metro to roll out the SSTOM package, bringing a different supply chain to the program, ultimately expanding Sydney Metro’s ability to deliver. RCC works across all major industry sectors, expansion into transport allows the business to access a larger pipeline and safeguards against sector shifts without having to change our business model or geographical footprint.

THE ROLE OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS MANAGER - SSTOM
- Ensure IR compliance for RCC’s direct workforce employees as well as the oversight of subcontractor employee mobilisation, and compliance.
- Ensure all subcontractor industrial relations instruments, plans, policies, programs and practices are compliant with the relevant codes prior to contracts being signed and teams being mobilised.
- Participate in the procurement processes to ensure all subcontractor proposals are assessed for Industrial Relations risk.
- Ensure all mobilised subcontractors maintain compliance during the duration of their association with the Project.
- Screen all subcontract labour and labour hire employees to ensure they meet the project requirements for a flexible and co-operative workforce team.
- Coach and assist subcontractor management to anticipate issues and resolve them in accordance with the Building Code and the WRMP.
- Prepare reports tracking project information including but not limited to parent organisation representation, turnover, remuneration movements, training delivered, ROE outcomes.

ABOUT YOU
- Several years' experience in the construction, mining or manufacturing industry.
- Competent in interpreting industry enterprise agreements.
- Strong understanding of labour hire agencies/agreements and commercial framework.
- Knowledge of the market and industrial climate the company operates.
- Knowledge of legislative and economic environment as appropriate to the role (e.g. contract law; construction industry etc.).
- Highly developed organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively but execute outcomes independently.
