**Retail Manager**

Right Choice Autos, a respected and rapidly expanding used car dealership based in Melbourne, is seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our sales operations and elevate the customer experience. **About the role**

As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of dealership operations, with a strong focus on team leadership, customer service, and business performance. You’ll play a key role in shaping sales strategies, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining a customer-first approach in everything we do.

**As a part of this role your responsibilities will include**:

- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve sales and profitability targets
- Oversee daily dealership operations, ensuring a smooth and professional customer journey
- Monitor and manage vehicle inventory, pricing strategy, merchandising, and display
- Develop and implement sales, promotional, and marketing strategies to attract new customers
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, finance regulations, and workplace policies
- Deliver performance reporting and strategic insights to company directors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, finance brokers, and service providers
- Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and efficiency
- Assist in recruitment, training, and development of sales and support staff

**Skills and experience**
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail, automotive or dealership management role
- Proven ability to lead a team and drive business results
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate
- Demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Familiarity with automotive sales systems and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving and team leadership
