**The Role**
Hudson has partnered with a high-profile government agency looking for an APS 6 Program Officer with experience in program management, governance and stakeholder engagement skills. If you are looking for a long-term non-ongoing contract and are based in Canberra, this may be the role for you
**Duties**:
- Be responsible for coordinating EPMO activities, including the development of program documentation, maintenance of records, and reporting on program progress and outcomes.
- Oversee the Action, Decision and Issues Register for the Agency's Program Committee, to ensure work continues to be progressed and issues and blockers are escalated as appropriate.
- Liaise professionally with Senior Executive Office teams to coordinate meetings and share information about the EPMO's activities.
- Coordination and/or preparation of correspondence, communications, reports, agendas, briefings and responses to information requests.
- Provide proactive and structured support across the Agency to improve consistency of review and evaluation activities, reporting and accountability.
- Working independently, identify priorities, goals and objectives, and manage risks to deliver consistently high-quality outputs to meet targets and critical deadlines.
