We are looking for a passionate and experienced person to build and lead strategic community partnerships that deliver our Vision of making a significant contribution to the quality of community life. You will develop strong connections with our local community with a focus on relationships, friendships and bringing people together, whilst identifying funding opportunities, coordinating fundraising activities and looking for other opportunities to support our community. You will share your passion to inspire, create and deliver opportunities to make life great for our local community.

**A great opportunity**

When it comes to Sport and Community, this role will give you a taste of everything, including:

- Managing Mingara’s ClubGRANTS program in-line with legal, budget and reporting requirements.
- Seeking opportunities for Events, and community initiatives that align with our Vision and that will increase our ‘foot traffic’ to the venue.
- Creating great relationships within the local community and government to assist Funding and Grant opportunities.
- Supporting Mingara’s Sub and Affiliated Clubs, to ensure that their administration is maintained, and complies with legislative requirements.
- Organising key community events and initiatives.
- As a member of our Destination Leadership Team, you will work closely with other Leaders to develop and execute our business plan and strategic vision for the site.
- Attending community events as a brand ambassador for Mingara

**About you**
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and confidence to speak publicly.
- Previous experience working or volunteering within a community organisation.
- The ability to build trust, credibility and confidence of stakeholders at all levels of our organisation.
- Excellent organisational and administration skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- With strong project management skills and the ability to multi task and manage competing priorities.
