The Peer Support Worker - Medication Support & Recovery Service (MSRS) will provide practical and emotional support for clients and their families whose lives are significantly impacted as a result of pharmaceutical/medication misuses. This role provides the opportunity to share your experiences of recovery or role as a carer of someone with pharmaceutical/medication concerns and empower participants, their families, clinicians and the community to ultimately improve outcomes for clients and families/loved ones engaged in the MSRS. The role is a combination of individual and group work.

**What you will be doing**
- Use your lived experience of mental illness/Alcohol and other drug use and recovery to support clients
- Provide a combination of individual (one-to-one) and group supports
- Develop and facilitate peer support groups
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide ‘wrap around care’ for complex clients

**What you will bring**
- Key Selection Criteria_
- A lived experience of mental illness/Alcohol and other drug use and recovery
- Training or qualifications in Peer Work or Peer Support
- Experience working from a Peer Support or Intentional Peer Support model to support clients with mental health concerns
