About the Role

A rewarding opportunity for Pipe-Layer-Drainer based in Melbourne, is available for a team player with the right attitude. This full-time position will require to lead and assist a small team whilst maintaining company fore values of CULTURE-RESPECT-EXCELLENCE.

Technical skills & requirements
- sets out and installs below ground sanitary and storm water drainage systems
- carries out site drainage and de-watering procedures, employing storm water, subsoil and pumped systems
- locates and clear blockages in drainage systems
- replaces sections of below ground drains
- excavates and levels to line, depth and grade
- installs excavation supports in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislations
- cuts and joins piping
- tests sewerage and drainage systems
- supervises staff

MIN 3 YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE

Strong knowledge and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety

Construction Industry Card

Relevant Accreditation

Salary $80,000 to $100,000

**Job Type**: Casual

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne West VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- pipe laying: 5 years (required)
- Excavator operation: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- HR Licence (preferred)
- White Card (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
