**About Us**: Boardies is a small boardgame bar in the Heart of smith st in Fitzroy. Boardies hosts themed trivia nights, live music, video game competitions and themed parties for Halloween ect. Boardies is a developing business with the opportunity for growth. we strive to provide a fun and exciting time for all guests and have been doing so for the 2 plus years we've been trading.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth service, from the kitchen to the stage.
- work behind the bar and update procedures as necessary
- Staff Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Rostering
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute events, collaborating with our kitchen and marketing team.
- Quality and Stock Control: Maintain high standards for food quality, customer service, and overall venue presentation along with ensuring stocktakes are done in a timely fashion and to the required standard.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage budgets, forecasting, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Maintain and learn our sizable boardgame collection.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in venue management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Bar skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, including rostering and other financial recording.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
