The perfect croissant needs care, attention and love to create. The same level of care is required to deliver our beautiful products to our venues to spread the joy of pastries across Melbourne. We are looking for a **casual** **Delivery Driver/Kitchen Hand** to join our BOH team who shares this same passion for pastry A strong work ethic and the ability to communicate and collaborate within a diverse team are essential, as well as a positive outlook and willingness to adapt to the dynamic of our kitchen environment
About the Kitchen Hand / Delivery Driver hybrid role:
- Collect and distribute products required by the Lune venues in an accurate, timely and appropriate manner
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate the delivery vehicle safely and in accordance with all laws and rule
- Carry out all duties as a representative and brand ambassador of Lune
- When required, you will assist in the preparation of food and perform additional kitchen duties (such as cleaning of equipment and kitchen areas) as directed by the Kitchen Manager- You are a great communicator and an active listener
- You have a full, clean driver’s licence and would be willing to drive a company vehicle
- Previous experience in working in a professional kitchen is helpful or otherwise, a willingness to learn the necessary kitchen skills to function as a Kitchen Hand
- Enjoys working in a team environment but can operate independently when necessary
