ARH Gosford is a purpose-built, 24 hour, Emergency Animal Hospital with over 40 clinical and support staff, all focused on providing high class patient and client care in a supportive, team environment. A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Customer Care representative who has a passion for teamwork and a real interest in assisting people through very emotional and challenging circumstances. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, exciting environment with a strong team focus and attention to detail.

Being a customer care representative in an emergency animal hospital is an extremely rewarding roll. You will have the opportunity to communicate with people from all walks of life who are all visiting us under a range of different circumstances. You will have the ability to make what is potentially a very difficult situation for people that little bit easier with your exceptional customer service.

**As the first contact for our clients presenting to the Emergency Department you will**:

- Engage directly with owners that call and/or present to the Hospital;
- Liaise with the clinical staff to ensure timely treatment of presenting patients;
- Ensure files are complete and prepared in a timely manner.
- Work closely with clinic teams to maintain highest standard of patient care
- Finalise client accounts

**To be successful you will have the following skills and expertise**:

- Exceptional organisation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to prioritise tasks and excellent time management skills.
- Able to maintain calm disposition while working in a busy customer service environment.
- Ability to provide empathy for clients.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a client-facing role
- Experience with RxWorks is highly regarded
- Experience in the veterinary industry will be highly regarded.

This roll will include evening and weekend hours with both casual and part-time opportunities available.
