My client is a national ASX listed transport, logistics and supply company. They invest in well-maintained sites, using the latest technology and innovations to ensure things run smoothly.

They are seeking a commercially astute
**Depot Manager** with great inter-personal skills.

With around 200 staff on-site and with the Admin Manager, Operations Manager and Facilities Manager directly reporting to you, each day will bring a unique set of opportunities to add value, and of course gain value from a stable employer.

The depot predominantly operates everything refrigerated, therefore, someone with experience in temperature controlled depts would be preferential. (Dry freight could be considered with the right leadership skill, consideration will be taken that you could learn the temp control aspect over time).

**Ideally, the you will be able to demonstrate a combination of the following**:

- Strong Commercial Acumen
- Interact in a professional manner and with gravitas
- Spearhead the nurturing of the depot culture
- Example best in class operation leaderships
- Hold people accountable for their actions
- Drive performance in teams and individuals
- Be a change agent, identify opportunities for improvement and implement them
- Be able to demonstrate previous experience in;
- Operationally leading large groups in an express freight / cost to serve model
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Be great at engaging staff and driving a high performance culture
- Proven success in a similar environment
- Having previous P&L exposure will be a benefit as the business transitions to a full state P&L owned model
