What’s involved?
You will be providing Business Development support to our national Real Estate Sector, and RECE (real estate, environment & planning, native title, and construction) Practice Groups. This is an incredibly exciting and interesting sector to work in and is consistently rated amongst the best in the market. We want a BD professional who has a passion for this sector and enjoys working to high standards with Partners who will see you as a trusted Advisor.
With a few years BD experience under your belt, you will be joining a wider national Business Development & Marketing team of over 70 professionals, and part of an already existing, high performing, client centric BD team. You will be offered career growth, mentoring and the ability to work with market leaders.
With an affinity to our guiding principles creativity, betterment and quality, this role will see you enjoy face time and interaction directly with partners, helping them deliver on client and business development strategies, that will in turn convert into opportunities.
Reporting to a Brisbane based Senior Client Relationship Manager, with mentoring from local leadership and the broader BD team in the Sydney office, key responsibilities will see you:
- Preparing high quality documents and materials, including client driven collateral, tenders and proposals, capability statements, directories and awards submissions
- Working with the BD team to coordinate successful client engagement, sponsorships, industry partnerships and conferences
- Working with BD colleagues to develop and execute the client and business development strategies and priorities for the Real Estate practice and RECE practice
- Supporting account leadership teams and client service teams with client management and relationship development activities
- Supporting relevant marketing campaigns and initiatives - developing client driven, innovative thought leadership in conjunction with the Marketing Communications and Corporate Affairs teams
- Identifying client feedback opportunities for the sector and practice and executing a plan to ensure key client and matter coverage
- Maintaining the CRM and other client data, client reporting and client / market research
Who are we looking for?

This is a hands-on role needing excellent communication, stakeholder and project management skills, and an ability to influence and engage across all levels. You will have a natural curiosity that will see you ask the right questions and keep across market developments to assist in connecting the dots and identifying business development opportunities.
You will also bring:
- An interest or experience in Real Estate, including contribution to enhancing the client experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or Commerce as well as 3+ years of experience in a business development or professional services role
- Demonstrated track record working collaboratively with teams within a corporate, professional services or related environment
- Ability to develop enduring and trusted relationships with internal and external clients
- Excellent communication skills to communicate with management, partners and clients at all levels
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands, and deliver against deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to think analytically and conduct research on business trends, market, client and competitor intelligence
