**Our client is a successful West Australian based Mining Contractor with extensive involvement in Maintenance, Contract Mining and Drill and Blast.**

**They have a requirement for Production Supervisors to join the team and provide leadership and direction to the crews in the safe achievement of mining and production targets.**

**About the role**:

- Lead your mining crew to safely and efficiently deliver the production plan.
- Effectively conduct shift handovers, pre-start and toolbox meetings.
- Assess the training requirements of your team.
- Monitor and evaluate performance throughout the shift to identify variance from the production plan and act where necessary.
- Prepare accurate and timely shift reports.
- Carry out inspections and job observations.

**Job Requirements**:

- Knowledge and experience in a line leadership role.
- Previous experience in open cut production mining.
- Demonstrated technical skills in operating various heavy earth moving mining equipment.
- Section 44.
- Exceptional Safety leadership with an ability to identify and eliminate hazards in the workplace.
- Sound social process skills and the ability to effectively lead a crew.
- Demonstrated strong drive, energy and work efficiency.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence.
- Able to Pass Pre-Employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol.
