**Description**:
Powertech is an Electrical Engineering Services Provider delivering HV/LV & E&I engineering, installation, commissioning, testing and operations and maintenance services to our clients in the Mining & Minerals, Oil & Gas, Energy & Utilities, Refineries & Infrastructure, Defence, Renewable Energy, Ports & Rail Sectors across Australia, and SE Asia.

Due to a consistent rate of company growth, which is paving the way for further expansion into local markets, we currently have a requirement for a Project Lead to join us on a full-time basis in our Perth, Malaga based office.

**Main responsibilities**:
Provide overall project administrative, communication, and management support to the
Project Manager with a focus on assisting to achieve project objectives and outcomes.
Identify, analyse and make recommendations about cost, schedule and other variances.
Work with client contacts (current and new) to develop a project opportunity pipeline.
Ensure that compliance, productivity, account profitability and customer satisfaction are
priorities at all times.
Provide support and guidance to immediate team in problem solving and overcoming
challenges related to recruitment activities and mobilisation processes.
Determine, source and manage resources required to achieve delivery targets
Solid understanding of the relevant engagement contracts and managing the scope,
governance and compliance of the contract through team activity
Forecasting, budgeting and monitoring invoicing activities for the assigned projects
Updating CRM with opportunities and maintaining and building client relationships
Estimating and quoting projects
Business development activities

**Experience, skills and qualifications**:
Must hold “A Grade” (Fitter and Mechanic) WA Electrical Workers License or Bachelor of Electrical Engineers recognised by Engineers Australia.
Minimum 10 years’ technical experience at a Senior Technical level and 5 years’ experience within a Leadership role
Working knowledge of appropriate Australian and International Standards and Codes of Practice
Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Proven ability meeting project quality, schedule and budget requirements.
Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to consult/liaise with clients / stakeholders at all levels and build sustainable relationships.
Ability to promote a high standard of professionalism, effective communication and personal integrity.
