Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for managing high-performing teams and have a background in manufacturing? We are currently seeking an exceptional Manager to lead our dynamic team and drive the success of our business.

Transmin is a world-class provider of innovative engineered equipment, and aftermarket parts and services to the mining resources and bulk material handling industries, throughout Australia and Internationally.

Transmin is seeking an experienced Manager to join our expanding Operations team. As an experienced Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire team activities of your product vertical, which covers project delivery, sales support for the sales team, product development including efficient procurement. Your ability to juggle multiple tasks, effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, and maintain a high attention to detail will be crucial for success. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a diverse group of professionals, ensuring their performance aligns with our organizational goals.

**About The Role**
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the Product vertical and its day to day activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance product performance, supply chain efficiency and value add.
- Work closely with the capital sales team to recognise opportunities and achieve sales growth;
- Preparation of proposals, costings and selections to meet client requirements;
- Responsible for planning and executing projects from sales handover to delivery to client;
- Ensure adequate resource allocation and planning to fulfill required timelines;
- Review and negotiate contracts as required;
- Assist in preparation of marketing material;
- Work closely with supply chain to identify and support strategic objectives for your product area, along with identifying critical components to limit company risk;
- Monitor quality issues and client feedback
- Lead development of new product streams or improvements as required
- Work closely with the Aftermarket team to identify opportunities for post sales revenue growth.

- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple streams of work to deliver overall goals on time and budget
- Minimum 10 years experience in a manufacturing or mechanical equipment environment or similar;
- Ability to understand the detail and provide guidance as required while maintaining the focus on the bigger picture.
- Excellent understanding of the financial management of project delivery
- Previous experience in a leadership/people management role;
- Functional knowledge of electrical and control systems and some familiarity with hydraulic equipment would be an added advantage although not a pre requisite.
- Applicable tertiary qualification (engineering, management or similar)
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Projects or similar scheduling software
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial terms and conditions
- Functional knowledge of 2D & 3D drawings
