**About the role-**

PPS are seeking an experienced Yard Coordinator involved in managing the daily activities and operations of the yard and outdoor storage area. This includes transportation of assets, tooling and equipment, logistics, goods inwards and goods outwards. The Yard Coordinator is responsible for the overall housekeeping of the yard and stores and on occasion may be required to assist with basic maintenance and operating a Forklift.

**Duties Include**:

- Ensures that the overall yard and outdoor storage areas are kept clean and tidy
- Conducts regular inspections of equipment, vehicles, and facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs, and coordinates with the Maintenance Manager/Operations Manager to ensure that these needs are addressed promptly
- Coordinating with drivers, dispatchers, and other personnel to ensure that shipments are loaded and unloaded in a timely and organized manner
- Loading and unloading of assets, tooling, plant and equipment, often by forklift
- Building a good rapport with sub-contractors and freight providers and Clients to ensure their needs are met.
- Overseeing the movement of vehicles and equipment in and out of the yard, ensuring that all movements are safe, efficient, and properly documented

**Successful applicants will have**:

- HR Drivers licence
- Valid Forklift licence
- Have an understanding of logistics and truck loading requirements
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
