**Who we are**
Aegros is Latin for ‘Patient’. We chose this name because it speaks to our focus on the patient. Every day we strive to place the patient first by providing therapeutic plasma products they would not otherwise be able to access.
At Aegros we believe access to life saving therapeutic plasma drugs is a human right and not a privilege. In a nutshell our mission is to put the patients first through innovation.
Over 30 years we have developed our HaemaFrac process which enables countries to turn human plasma they collect into life saving hyperimmune products.
**Here’s the high-level**
Reporting to me, Tim Bryant, Chief People Officer, this position will have two main purposes: 1) Enable the fast growth across Aegros with the plans to grow 100+ more Aegrosians (employees) in the next 6-12 months 2) Lead our Talent strategy and evolution of our philosophy, approaches, processes, practices.
This is a lot more than just another recruiter role, this is a unique experience for someone to lead talent in a start-up environment. This is an environment that will suit some that has vision, ambition and has the grit to pursue extraordinary. Our team is growing and we are looking to introduce more talented HR folks including both this role and a HR Leader.
**Some of the key areas of focus and the why.**
- Support our ‘scale-up’ particularly around talent planning, acquisition, and onboarding. Own the talent strategy and delivery.
- Diversity is already something we enjoy and cherish, help us continue to this journey with continued in equity in our talent approach and practices.
- Get involved outside of the traditional TA space, by co-leading the creation of our strategies and execution around across the HR ecosystem including total rewards, talent management, learning & development.
- With the ambition of being an employer of choice, lead the creation of our first (intentional) Employee Value Proposition.
- Own our social media and digital talent strategies in partnership with our Communications leader.
- Support and co-lead the HR digital and automation strategy including the implementation and/or optimisation of HR technologies
- With the opportunity to start with the end in mind, help lead the evolution of our processes including how and where we automate and digitise.
- Some of our talent needs are very niche so searching globally isn’t uncommon, that said support and lead the global mobility policy development and processes.
With our first facility going live to commercial in the coming months, partner with the business in creating and delivery of resource management including agile resource allocation, workforce planning and flexible resourcing.
**Requirements**:
**What I’m looking for**
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or related discipline.
- 8+ years in the Human Resources and/or Talent field (either internal or external)
- Demonstrated track record in sourcing, assessing and securing top talent
- Experience in building and leadership Organisational Development models and process
- A growth mindset with a track record of creating and adopting innovative programs and practices
- Experience in talent management models and processes both leading and building capability.
- High business acumen through demonstrated experience in supporting the creation of business strategy and identifying organisational and talent implications
- Demonstrated coaching and influencing skills with leaders to drive optimal outcomes
- Proven track record in building strong relationship and trust with business leaders to achieve status of trusted advisor
- Proven ability to diagnose problems and drive effective countermeasures
- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and identify systemic approaches to problem solving in a continuously changing environment
